Case/ Carnet du Bal: extremely rare CARNET DE BAL with integrated watch, gold/ enamel with diamond

Case/ Carnet du Bal: extremely rare "CARNET DE BAL" with integrated watch, gold/ enamel with diamond setting "Souvenir D'Amitie", France ca. 1830, Provenance: Fondation Napoleon: Ca. 50 x 93mm, ca. 99g, 18K gold, all sides with blue engine turned enamel, face with an oval ivory miniature surrounded by rose cut diamonds, below the watch, also surrounded by rose cut diamonds, back with an oval gold monogram, again surrounded by rose cut diamonds, underneath the lid for winding and time setting, with diamond rim, top hinged, front with inscription ""Souvenir"", back with ""D'Amitie"" completely set with diamonds, inside the cards made of ivory and the gold pencil holder, in absolutely original condition, oval form watch movement with cylinder escapement, enamel dial. One side with imperfections in the enamel, otherwise in completely original and undamaged condition, movement intact. Dance card cases with integrated watch are absolute rarities. They are even rarer than tobacco boxes or wallets with a watch. The case was once part of the collection of the Fondation Napoleon. Etui/Carnet du Bal: extrem rares "CARNET DE BAL" mit eingebauter Uhr, Gold/Emaille mit Diamantbesatz "Souvenir D'Amitie", Frankreich um 1830, Provenance: Fondation Napoléon: Ca. 50 x 93mm, ca.99g, 18K Gold, allseitig blaue Guilloche-Emaille, schauseitig eine ovale Elfenbein-Miniatur umrandet von Diamantrosen, darunter die Uhr, ebenfalls umrandet von Diamantrosen, rückseitig ein ovales Goldmonogramm, wiederum mit Diamantrosen umrandet, darunter die Klappe für Aufzug und Zeigerstellung, auch diese mit Diamantrand, Oberteil aufklappbar, schauseitig der Schriftzug "Souvenir", rückseitig "D'Amitie" komplett mit Diamanten besetzt, im Inneren die Karten aus Elfenbein und der goldene Bleistifthalter, absolut originaler Zustand, ovales Formwerk mit Zylinderhemmung, Emaillezifferblatt. Eine Seitenfront mit Mängeln in der Emaille, ansonsten komplett originaler und unbeschädigter Zustand, Werk gangbar. Tanzkartenetuis mit eingebauter Uhr sind absolute Raritäten. Sie sind noch seltener als Tabakdosen oder Geldbörsen mit Uhr. Das Etui war ehemals ein Objekt aus der Sammlung der Fondation Napoléon.
