Issued in 1963 and circulated until 1971, at which point saw the end of the Pound and dawn of the Libyan Dinar. It all came about after King Idris was deposed while on a trip to Turkey by the now infamous Muammar Gaddafi. Ink has been lightened on this scarce note.
