Aelia Pulcheria, Augusta, 414-453. Tremissis (Gold, 19 mm, 1.50 g, 12 h), Constantinopolis, circa 420-450/3. AEL PVLCH-ERIA AVG Diademed and draped bust of Aelia Pulcheria to right, wearing pearl necklace. Rev. Cross within a wreath with large central jewel above; in exergue, CONOB✱. Depeyrot 72/4. MIRB 15. RIC 521. An unusually sharp and clear example. Minor flan fault on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
