Naval Brigade in China Expedition; to Gallipoli 31May1915; to hospital sick 23Aug1915; Died 27Sep1915 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Netley, England of enteric fever.

Entitled to 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19 all issued to widow, later remarried.
