GLADIATOR (2000) - General Maximus (Russell Crowe) Roman Greaves
GLADIATOR (2000) - General Maximus' (Russell Crowe) Roman Greaves General Maximus' (Russell Crowe) Roman greaves from Ridley Scott's historical epic Gladiator. Maximus Decimus Meridius wore his greaves when he led the Roman charge in the Battle of Vindobona. These two matching greaves are constructed from fibreglass, painted silver-colour and engraved with Roman designs on the front. Both are padded with leather and feature leather laces tied through metal hooks on the side. The leather is lifting in places from production wear, exposing the fibreglass, and both greaves exhibit intentional scuffing and grime applied by production.
