Thieu Tri "Two Principles" gold 2 Tien ND (1841-48) AU55 NGC, KM333, Fr-15, Sch-281. Obv. "THIU TRI THONG BAO." Rev. "NHI NGHI" (the two principles) at 12 and 6 o'clock. Moon and clouds on right and left side of central square hole. Well struck for the issue, with a slightly wavy flan and minor contact marks. Very similar in condition to the Dr. Lawrence Adams Collection specimen, sold by CNG, on January 5, 2016, Lot 2713, for a hammer price of $10,000. Extremely rare.
