A Mahogany Inlaid Chiming Longcase Clock, retailed by Woffindin & Turner, Leeds, circa 1900, arched pediment, Corinthian capped columns, pierced side sound frets, trunk finely inlaid with scroll and floral decoration, 12-inch arch brass dial with a silvered chapter ring, dial centre with seconds and applied plaque with retailers signature, selection dials in the arch for chime/silent and Whittington/Westminster chimes, triple weight driven movement with an anchor escapement and quarter chiming on a nest of eight bells and gongs and a further hammer striking on a gong for the hours 249cm high Case colour has faded, hood side frets with chips and some losses, trunk and plinth with some chips and dents in parts, top side of the plinth with a deep scratch, dial and movement are dirty, movement needs cleaning, with three weights and a pendulum.
