SICILY, Gela. Circa 490/85-480/75 BC. AR Didrachm (19.5mm, 8.65 g, 12h). Horseman riding right, preparing to cast javelin / Forepart of man-headed bull right within circular incuse. Jenkins, Gela, Group Id, 84 (O26/R42); HGC 2, 363; SNG ANS 18 (same obv. die). Lightly toned, hairlines, slightly off center and die break on obverse, minor flan flaw on reverse. Good VF.
