Malaya and British Borneo's famed $10,000 note was the highest denomination issued by the Board of Commissioners. This denomination was not issued to the public, but rather, was used between banks to settle accounts. Solid zero serial numbers and a perforated cancellation indicate its Specimen status. A small pen notation at top and mounting remnants are mentioned for accuracy. Only the third example we have offered, this is the crowning denomination of the series and a famed Queen Elizabeth II rarity.
