BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Heliokles, circa 145-130 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 32 mm, 16.71 g, 12 h). Diademed and draped bust of Heliokles to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΗΛΙΟΚΛΕΟΥΣ / ΔΙΚΑΙΟΥ Zeus standing facing, holding thunderbolt in right hand and scepter in left; to inner left, monogram. Bopearachchi 1U; SNG ANS 642-8. A wonderful Hellenistic portrait. Minor flan flaw on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
