Ye Zhongsan (1875 – 1945), dated by inscription to Jiyou year (AD1909)

Delicately painted to one side with a scene of an elegant lady on horseback with her two attendants, being spied upon by a young gentleman and his attendant from behind a rock, below the inscription 'West Lake', the reverse with the same party on boats picking lotuses from the carp-strewn pond, all below an inscription bearing date, signature and seal of the artist, stopper.
