1913 5C Type One MS68 NGC. The 1913 Type One Buffalo nickel is always in great demand as a first-year-of-issue date and a one-year type coin. However, few collectors have an opportunity to acquire an example graded as fine as MS68. This piece glistens with luminous original mint luster, produced by lightly worn dies that leave areas of metal flowlines in the fields. Delicate pastel toning in shades of gold and lilac adorn each side, promoting incredible visual appeal. Only a touch of strike softness is noted in the centers.
