A GEORGE III MAHOGANY SERVING OR HALL TABLE CIRCA 1765 The flute carved frieze with a central drawer 82cm high, 185cm wide, 68cm deep Condition Report: Table with the marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use.Some old splits, chips and losses - see images for details.One side of the top can be lifted away from the frieze slightly. Some possibly later screws to the interior of the carcass. Some old repairs to the spandrels at the tops of the rear legs - see images. Surface appears to have been re-coloured and varnished at some point. Simple attention by a restorer would significantly improve the appearance of the scratches.
