Although undated, considered to have been struck slightly later than the previous lot with a very similar design, but notably different shields (this one shaped in oval fashion), as well as the omission of NOVUS in the reverse inscription. Further differentiated from a sub-variety of the same period by dots above and below the reserve wreath. About as fine as this issue comes, with fully brilliant mint luster, delicate reflectively in the fields and a bit of soft strike in the centers; a definite condition rarity with only one piece certified finer by NGC.From the Redwood Collection of Swiss Coins
