SAINT-EXUPERY ANTOINE DE: (1900-1944)

SAINT-EXUPERY ANTOINE DE: (1900-1944) French writer, poet, aristocrat, journalist and pioneering aviator, remembered for his novella The Little Prince (1943). An original bold pencil drawing by Saint-Exupery, unsigned, one page, 4to, n.p., n.d. To the lower half of the plain sheet of stationery Saint-Exupery has drawn a sketch of a fish, seemingly tempted by a piece of bait on a hook, which the writer has drawn in the upper half of the page. Saint-Exupery has also added various apparently random figures ('2,500,000,000', within a rectangular box,'50,000', '1000' etc.) in his hand, in pencil, to various parts of the page, along with a few other symbols and two words ('tonne Km'?). Two very small, minor pinholes to the upper left corner and some very slight creasing to the edges and corners, VG
