Most Mint State examples qualify for Full Bands classification, but most also grade no finer than MS64. Gem overdates are rare, and finer pieces exceedingly so. This Premium Gem Full Bands coin is not quite the finest known -- a handful of MS66+ Full Bands coins and an MS67 Full Bands piece are reported at PCGS -- but it is tied for the finest with CAC endorsement (6/23).
