A LARGE CENTRAL PERSIAN CARPET approximately 792 x 424cm Condition Report: Wear to carpet overall consistent with age and use. Some patches of additional wear. These reveal underlying weft in places. Strands of broken weft poke through pile in places. Fringing/tassels are lost at both ends. Later thread has been stitched into the ends to help secure. Some small areas of loss to pile, possibly from old moth damages. A few small old stitched repairs.
