A PAIR OF CHINESE ORMOLU-MOUNTED PORCELAIN VASES, EARLY 20TH CENTURY each of rounded squat form, with two anthemion handles, six alternating colored lace medallions, a continuous motif of cartouches with a centered floral motif, all against a famille rose ground, with ormolu anthemion and acanthus brass details, with an gadrooned acanthus finial on matching acanthus feet; overall height: 40 cm (15 3/4 in.) CONDITION In age-appropriate condition. Slight discoloration to one of the pink famille grounds on one of the covered vases. Inspection under UV shows overpainting to the discoloration that is visible to the naked eye. N.B. All lots are sold in as-is condition at the time of sale.
