One of the most sought-after of Brazilian rarities, this Special Series type offers further intrigue because of two distinct legend varieties, with this example the first "Regens" emission that we have ever handled. Despite the problematic dies that likely led to the grainy fields and somewhat muted strike, this remains a rather attractive coin, with original cabinet toning on surfaces that are devoid of circulation wear. The "Reg" variety that we offered in 2020 sold for more than $10,000, and we expect a similar level of interest here.
