A Remington Rolling Block rifle by Nagant dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Round, rifled barrel, with foldaway and adjustable rear sight, the club guide for the bayonet is missing, octagonal base featuring several marks of Liege and 'MG'. 12,7 mm cal. at the nozzle. Frame marked with 'BREVET REMINGTON' and 'EM & L NAGANT A LIEGE'. Centerfire, working mechanics. Wooden butt and fore-end, the butt-side with remains of a stamp. Straight, iron butt-plate. Missing ramrod. probably for the Papal State. length 114,5 cm.
