A Rock Crystal, Diamond, Split Pearl, Ruby and Emerald Pendant on Chain circa 1900


the heart-shaped rock crystal with two smaller heart-shaped rock crystal cabochons within borders of split pearls laid upon it, the smaller hearts with a crown surmount comprising of a cushion-shaped emerald flanked by cushion-shaped rubies and terminating to split pearls, in yellow claw and rubbed over settings, suspended from a diamond set ribbon bow motif, on a white trace link chain, total estimated diamond weight 0.15 carat approximately pendant length 4.4cm, chain length 68cm NB: one seed pearl deficient The piece is in fair condition commensurate with age, there is dirt trapped beneath the twinned heart section. The chain fastens with a bolt ring catch. It bears no hallmark nor stamp, but in our opinion would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour K/L/M, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 26.3 grams. CR made 18.05.22.
