EDWARD VIII: (1894-1972) King of the United Kingdom January - December 1936. Later Duke of Windsor. An exceptionally fine book signed, being a deluxe limited edition hardback copy of A King's Story - Memoirs of the Duke of Windsor, published by G. P. Putnam's Sons, New York, 1951, signed ('Edward') in dark fountain pen ink by the Duke to the limitations page and numbered 35 of 385 copies. Handsomely bound in full red Morocco with three gilt armorial coats of arms to the front, each with facsimile signatures beneath, representing Edward's titles as Prince of Wales, King of the United Kingdom, and Duke of Windsor, with gilt panels and titles to spine, five raised bands, crimson silk moire endpapers, the top edges gilt, uncut edges and with a silk-sewn in bookmark. Contained within the original publisher's red cloth slipcase. The spine very slightly sunned and with some extremely minor, light age wear. About EX
