A fine pair of circa 1935 Kerman (South Persia) carpets: tree of life (pomegranate) design with various birds, branches and flowerheads within two smaller salmon ground borders with flowerheads and a larger light lime-green border with a variety of birds and stylised trees. (Each carpet approx. 224 x 143 cm) Generally good -- no major problems. Have come privately.
