Tu Duc "Sun and Moon" Tien (1848-1883) MS62 NGC, KM403, Sch-352. 3.27gm. The patina ranges from silvery pearl tones to slate gray but the reverse has some very attractive teal and sunburst hues. A couple small patches of residue on the obverse are noted here for completeness. A very scarce issue in Mint State that boasts a light frosty shimmer. NGC has certified but one example of the type in higher grade.
