1873 $1 MS62 Prooflike NGC. OC-2, R.2. Osburn-Cushing Die State a/a. Struck from freshly polished dies, this prooflike 1873 Seated dollar is brilliant with a thin veil of pale-gold patina. The strike is mostly sharp, lacking full details on Liberty's upper hair strands and several right-hand stars. Fully reflective fields contrast with frosted devices for excellent eye appeal. This is apparently the sole-certified 1873 Prooflike circulation strike Seated dollar at NGC or PCGS combined in any grade (5/23).
