BRITISH COINS, Charles II, Silver Crown, 1663, first laureate and draped bust right, with "mezotinto" frosted cloak, rev crowned cruciform emblematic shields, interlinked C's in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of crown over top English shield, no stops in legend, edge inscribed in raised letters and dated XV (ESC.27A; Bull 359; S 3354). Some light flecking, about extremely fine, toned and rare.
