A fine, antique style shield

dating: 19th Century provenance: Europe Heavy, circular and convex, iron plaque. Depicting a beautiful, battle scene in the style of the 16th Century, featuring men standing and on horseback. At the centre a shield boss with rows of fake rivets; the external margin decorated with two rows of fake rivets too. At the back a loop to fix it, and the marks "SETZLISCH", "GESCHÃœTZT" e "3918", stamped with the effigy of two crossed hammers with monogram surmounted by a crown. dimensions: diameter 54 cm.
