Mint Unrun Lionel Postwar Freight Set No. 11600 in set box with original cardboard dividers, circa 1968. The 2029 steam loco was made in Japan and the nameplate reads Lionel, Hagerstown, Md. rather than New York, New York and the trailing truck is stamped "JAPAN". The set contains; 2029 steam loco with tamper and bottle of smoke pellets, 234W tender, 6014 white Frisco boxcar, 6476 yellow Lehigh Valley hopper, 6315 orange tank car, 6560 Bucyrus Erie crane car with red cab, 6130 red Santa Fe work caboose. The tray is unusual. It is brown painted over an orange plastic shell. The frame is chemically treated. Also included is a 1122 LH remote control left hand switch with 1122-254 sealed packet in OB, 1020 90-degree crossover, 260 black plastic illuminated bumper, 1044 90-watts transformer, twelve curve track sections, six straight track sections, 6149 uncoupling track section, 1103-40 packet sealed with contents, and paperwork. The set is UNRUN, C9. The set box has no split corners and has bright and clean color graphics. This is one of the only sets made in Hagerstown, Maryland 1968 at the Lionel Porter Factory on Long Meadow Road.
