An over and under barrelled flintlock pistol
dating: 18th Century provenance: North Italy, Smooth, two-stage, 11.5 mm cal. barrels, octagonal at the first part and then round after rings; smooth tang with double screw. Angled locks, partially engraved and carved with floral motifs. Stock in three parts made of fine briarwood (small restorations) with beautiful, brass mounts engraved with floral motifs, the barrelbracket with band decorated en suite. Complete with horn-tipped, wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractor. length 34 cm.
