ATTICA. Athens. Circa 500/490-485/0 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 17.12 g, 1 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet and circular earring. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive sprig; all within incuse square. Asyut Group IVg. Seltman Group Gii. Svoronos pl. 4 passim. Perfectly centered and of wonderful archaic style. Minor flan faults and with a large test cut on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
