A Needlework Picture, dated 1636 , depicting a castellated house in parkland with a tower, bridge, river and animals, an urn on a column inscribed Emma Poole work Oct 25 1636 within a foliate meander border 31cm by 47cm, framed and glazed Numerous small holes in various areas around the backing material, largest approx 20mm x 10mm to the left of the signed urn. Lower left corner with some staining. Other general lighter staining to the borders. No noted areas of repair, appears to be honest. Appears to be fixed within the mount, not inspected. Frame and glass detached. Some gesso and gilt chipped.
