A CHINESE YELLOW-GROUND BLUE AND WHITE 'FRUITS AND FLOWERS' DISH QING DYNASTY The shallow flaring sides supported by a slightly tapered foot, painted with a flowering and fruiting branch to the centre, enclosed by a spray of pomegranate, bunches of grapes and a finger citron, the reverse decorated with blossoms on a scrolling foliage, the base with a six character Xuande mark, 26.5cm. Provenance: from the collection of the late Michael Sherrard QC CBE (1928-2012), acquired prior to 2000.
