Rare vase Dorotheenthal, painter Johann Martin Frantz the Elder, around 1725 Hexagonal in cross-section. Spherical wall with flared stand and high, indented neck. Painted in blue, green, iron-red and yellow: between stylized pointed leaf borders flower vases and flowering shrubs with depictions of birds, above them flowering branches framed by acanthus leaves. On neck leaf ornaments with rosette flowers. On the bottom of the jar is the maker's and painter's mark ''AB'' (ligated), below ''f'' in blue. Fine hairline crack, glaze min. dam. Seltene Vase Dorotheenthal, Maler Johann Martin Frantz d.Ä., um 1725 Im Querschnitt sechseckig. Kugelfoermige Wandung mit ausgestelltem Stand und hohem, eingezogenem Hals. Bemalung in Blau, Gruen, Eisenrot und Gelb: zwischen stilisierten Spitzblattbordueren Blumenvasen und Bluetenstauden mit Vogeldarstellungen, darueber von Akanthusblaettern gerahmte Bluetenzweige. Auf Hals Blattornamente mit Rosettenblueten. Auf Bodenunterseite Manufaktur- und Malermarke ''AB'' (ligiert), darunter ''f'' in Blau. Feiner Haarriss, Glasur min. best.
