Anhwei. Kuang-hsü 50 Cents Year 24 (1898) XF Details (Damage) PCGS, Anking mint, KM-Y44.1, L&M-200, Kann-58. ASTC initials on reverse. An elusive type from the Anhwei series that we we have not had the pleasure of offering since 2013 when we sold a similarly graded XF Details specimen. Although the noted damage is visible in the right region of the reverse, actual circulation wear is not overly distracting for the grade and the piece has an inviting visual comportment with an all-encompassing champagne tone and ample remaining detail, particularly throughout the dragon motif.
