A Louis XVI ormolu mantel clock, surmounted with the figures of a King holding a spear and a Roman soldier holding aloft a lamb, standing above military trophies, on a stepped base with white marble plinth and turned feet, signed silk suspension countwheel movement numbered 1175, 28.5cm wide, 14cm deep, 36cm high ***CONDITION REPORT*** Overall looks to be in honest untouched condition, ormolu remains bright but does have some oxidisation spots scattered throughout and a little rubbing to the raised extremities, the spear held by the crowned figure bas been repaired half way along, dial with some speckling, movement looks complete but not tested for timekeeping, marble plinth with minor nicking around the edges, comes with a pendulum and associated key.
