A George III mahogany metamorphic folio table, early 19th century, the leather inset top lifting to reveal two fold-out ladder sections, raised on square tapering reeded legs, terminating in castors, 112cm wide 62cm deep 65cm high Provenance: The Gordon Gridley Collection, London. Leather cracked and faded, action opens and functions as it should, appears to have been historically repaired with a section of replacement timber visible from one end, casters tarnished and knocked, solid structural condition.
