Y A SPANISH EBONY, EBONISED, AND TORTOISESHELL INLAID SIDE OR CENTRE TABLE LATE 17TH CENTURY The rectangular top with brass stringing around the panels and above barley-twist supports and iron frame 76cm high, 133cm wide, 67.5cm deep Provenance: Formerly the property of the Curé de Lourdes Condition Report: Various old marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. Old splits, chips, and some losses - see images. Old repairs to veneers and inlay.Evidence of old worm to legs and feet. This have been disguised using dark filler or wax. Later fixtures securing the curved iron elements to the stretchers between the legs. One block to the underside of the top has two fillets of replacement timber inset - see images.Filler has been applied to the joins between the tops of the legs and the supporting blocks to the underside of the top.
