Rare - Davidson's Trafalgar Medal, circa 1805, pewter, mounted in yellow metal with suspension ring, the obverse decorated with Nelson's arms and motto surmounted with a bust of the Admiral, the date Oct 21 1805, and the maker's initials H.F. for Thomas Halliday below, the reverse with a view of a ship, 2.08 inches diameter. Catalogue note: The medal was awarded to the survivors of the Battle of Trafalgar by Alexander Davidson, Nelson's prize agent. The medals were issued in white metal or pewter. An example is held in the Royal Museums Greenwich
