A good Charles I hallmarked silver Church Communion cup with tulip bowl above knopped stem and spreading circular foot, London 1639, height 16.5cm, approx 7ozt/218g, with standard mark also to foot rim. Additional Information Hallmark is in excellent condition, maker's mark is I.B above a symbol (untraceable). Diameter of bowl 8.75cm, diameter of foot rim 9cm. Some old repairs around the foot rim, as you would expect from a cup of this age. Minor surface scratches, tarnishing and toning. A 1mm nick to the rim, but overall a stunning cup.
