A pair of carved wooden angels with candlesticks, Southern Germany, 18th century
Carved in the round and partially freestanding, the wings separately attached. With older polychromy. A facing pair angels standing in lively contrapposto, each holding a cornucopia candlestick aloft to one side.
With minor vertical cracks. Wear with losses to the polychromy. The metal drip pans loosely attached. Heights 37 and 38 cm.

Süddeutsch 18. Jahrhundert, Engelspaar mit Kerzenleuchtern
Holz, vollrund und teilweise freiplastisch geschnitzt, Flügel angesetzt. Ältere farbige Fassungen. Zwei einander zugewandt in bewegtem Kontrapost stehende Engel, die jeweils einen Kerzenleuchter in Form eines Füllhorns erhoben zu ihrer Seite halten.
Wenige kurze Risse, Bestoßungen mit Verlusten an den Fassungen. Metallische Tropfschalen aufgesetzt. Höhe 37 bzw. 38 cm.
