BATMAN (1989) - Jokers (Jack Nicholson) Getaway Car Licence Plate

The Joker's (Jack Nicholson) getaway car licence plate from Tim Burton's superhero film Batman. This black plate was seen on the rear of the Joker's getaway car after he ambushed a Gotham City press conference. This lot was originally part of a Batman prop exhibition displayed in the Way In department at Harrods. Constructed from lightweight metal, the black plate features "Gotham City'' across the bottom and displays the numbers "279-HPU" finished in white paint. The lot also includes an additional licence plate, painted white, with black text reading "303-STB, Gotham City". Both items display intentional screw holes and minor paint wear, and the white plate is intentionally distressed to appear used. Dimensions (each): 15.5 cm x 30.5 cm (6" x 12") Estimate: £400 - 600 M
