1916-S $20 MS65+ PCGS. The 1916-S Saint-Gaudens double eagle has been overlooked and undervalued by collectors over the years, because of its presence in several hoards that surfaced in the 1970s and 1980s. In high grade, the 1916-S is still a scarce date, and the MS65+ category seems to provide just the right combination of high-grade scarcity and reasonable price. This high-end Gem displays sharply detailed devices, vibrant mint luster, and light greenish-gold surfaces.
