BRITISH MADE. W. OTTWAY & CO. LTD. EALING. LONDON.', in quickly-detachable mounts, the barrel previously tapped for mounts and plugged, the right side engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98. NEW BOND ST. LONDON.', the left side original calibre designation removed and new engraving '.22L', non-selective ejector, carved teardrop fences, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, beaded border and scroll engraving with 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND' in scrolling banners to the sides, some reblued finish, 14 3/4in. pistolgrip stock with steel pistolgrip-cap and buttplate, weight 5lb. 11oz.
