Syria Banque de Syrie et du Grand-Liban 50 Livres 1938 Pick 39s Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. At the time of cataloging, only four examples of this high denomination Specimen are present in the PMG Population Report. This denomination is found with three dates, 1925, 1938, and 1939, each of which is slightly different from the other, in terms of color schemes, signature combinations, and overprints. This Specimen has two thick black overprints atop otherwise fresh paper. Very rare in this elite state of preservation and desirable as such.
